Holdfast building surveyors and inspectors recently attended a seminar on multi-rise timber construction and fire engineering, hosted by the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors and with presentations from Wood Solutions and the University of Tasmania. The workshop covered emerging timber products and systems for mid-rise construction, as well as timber design for durability and fire safety for Class 2, 3 and 5 buildings.
